Eliance Kendo: Empowering Women Through Natural Cycle Therapy

on

Eliance Kendo, founded by E. Kendo, is dedicated to helping women understand and manage their menstrual cycles using a combination of theoretical knowledge and natural herbs. E. Kendo’s personal journey and deep-rooted knowledge from Surinamese herbal traditions drive the mission to provide relief from common menstrual complaints and support women’s reproductive health.

E. Kendo’s path to becoming a cycle therapist is both personal and profound. After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which resulted in the removal of one ovary, E. Kendo experienced irregular menstruation and faced challenges in conceiving. This led to extensive research on the menstrual cycle, eventually leading her to the Hormone Center, where she completed a nine-month cycle therapy training.

Her interest in natural remedies was influenced by her grandfather, a herbalist in Suriname, and her father, who successfully treated various ailments with herbs. This rich family heritage of herbal knowledge inspired E. Kendo to combine modern cycle therapy with the traditional use of Surinamese herbs.

E. Kendo offers a unique blend of modern cycle therapy and traditional herbal remedies. Many women are unaware that their symptoms, such as headaches, mood swings, reduced energy, brain fog, overstimulation, and abdominal pain, are related to their menstrual cycle. E. Kendo helps women recognize and manage these symptoms through personalized coaching and natural treatments.

Every woman’s cycle is unique, and E. Kendo tailors her approach to each individual. The four-month coaching program includes an initial session in her practice for stress and fatty acid measurements, followed by three monthly video calls. This comprehensive approach addresses both mental and physical aspects, helping women understand their cycle and reduce their symptoms.

A key component of E. Kendo’s therapy is the use of natural herbs from Suriname. She creates customized herbal teas and compositions to address specific pains or complaints, introducing the natural effects of Surinamese herbs to Western society. Her online shop offers these natural remedies, making them accessible to a broader audience.

Despite only working for a few months, E. Kendo has already helped 45 women through its programs and products. One of the proudest achievements is assisting women who want to conceive but have no medical reasons preventing pregnancy. So far, two women who received E. Kendo’s help are now pregnant.

E. Kendo is also proud of her Surinamese roots and the herbal knowledge passed down from her family. Her father, a self-taught expert in medical terms and body functions, continues to be a source of inspiration and knowledge.

Looking ahead, E. Kendo aims to rebrand and consolidate its offerings under a single roof, including a public launch of the webshop. E. Kendo also plans to start podcasts to share her knowledge and reach a wider audience.

E. Kendo sees potential for growth and can accommodate 3 to 5 new clients per month. She focuses on the Dutch-speaking market, with her practice based in Wormer, and leverages her network, word of mouth, and social media to attract new clients.

Under the expert guidance of E. Kendo, provides a unique and holistic approach to managing menstrual cycles and reproductive health. By combining modern cycle therapy with traditional Surinamese herbs, E. Kendo empowers women to understand and manage their symptoms, ultimately improving their quality of life.
